PLAYNICK in Valencia, Spain
From December 26th to December 30th 2012 the first international Clarinet festival “Ciutat de Xátiva” will take place in Spain. The objective of the festival is for students to get the possibility to gain a global insight into the international clarinet scene, with the special focus on interpretation and technique. The plan includes individual lessons with lecturers like Jonathan Cohler (International Soloist and Professor of Clarinet at the Boston and the New England Conservatory) or Antonio Fraioli (International Soloist and Professor of chamber music at the Conservatory “G. Martucci” Salerno), as well as group lessons. Further highlights of the festival will be various concerts. The event will be concluded with a workshop held by Jochen Seggelke (workshop for innovative hand-crafted clarinets in Bamberg) and Nick Kückmeier – we are really looking forward to it…
Training for specialist suppliers at “blaswerk Musik Haag”
To offer all our clients the possibility to get a qualified and competent advice (also to clients which do not purchase our products directly from us) it is absolutely necessary to train our contracting partners. Finding the right selection of a mouthpiece/reed combination for someone’s particular embouchure requires sensitivity and specialized knowledge of our products. On November 23rd we were guests at “blaswerk Musik Haag” in Luzern (Switzerland) to train their employees to that effect. Thank you for the invitation!
If you are interested in training, please contact us by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org

PLAYNICK in Stuttgart, Germany
On October 22nd and 23rd a workshop was held for the clarinet class of Norbert Kaiser (Professor of Clarinet) at the State University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart. Nick Kückmeier combined this trip with a workshop for the Baden-Württemberg Police Orchestra directed by Toni Scholl on October 24th. Of course Julia Schlag, also one of the conductors of the Baden-Württemberg Police Orchestra, could not miss out on this great opportunity as well. Prospective costumers of our products within the area of Stuttgart can now turn to her directly to get our material.

And again our PLAYEASY system was able to convince
In July 2012 Pascal Moragues (Principal Clarinet of the Orchestre de Paris) carefully scrutinized our PLAYEASY system. He tested our material thoroughly and finally chose a PlayEasy B2 mouthpiece. Innhyuck Cho, his former student and now e-flat clarinetist of the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, decided in favour of our PLAYEASY system after a long afternoon of testing here in Höf-Präbach as well.

Pascual Martínez-Forteza from the New York Philharmonic Orchestra paid us a visit during his tour through Europe to test our PlayEasy system for the French clarinet. We received his first enthusiastic feedback only two weeks later: “Hello Nick, I have been playing your mouthpieces and synthetic reeds in all the concerts since I saw you in Graz and I am very happy – every day I feel more comfortable with the material, I got great comments from my colleagues from the orchestra and also from my Music Director Alan Gilbert!”
