Big success for young musicians

Once again students playing on mouthpieces of PLAYNICK were very successful in music competitions: this very big success is based on the decisive choice of the right combination of mouthpieces and reeds. We congratulate the students of Stefan Bachmair who could achieve these awards and we wish them the very best in their further music career!

Anna Hirblinger: winner of the national competition (solo/duo) of the Bavarian wind band association in Würzburg (99 of 100 points)

Andreas Froschermaier and Philipp Maierhofer: 2nd place at the national competition „Jugend musiziert“ 2017 in Paderborn

Andreas Bachmair (10 years): 1st place in his age group at the final of the Austrian music competition „Jugend komponiert“ in Salzburg

"Jugend musiziert"

The quartett of the „Louis Spohr“ Gotha music school participated in the national competition „Jugend musiziert“ and got full marks for their performance, only one other ensemble out of 69 was able to achieve that. Andrea Hähnlein (leader of the ensemble) says:

„Now the competition is over and we did great – our clarinet quartett (except from the bass clarinet, everybody plays on a PlayEasy D2-mouthpiece in combination with synthetic reeds) received a 1st prize! Thank you very much for your awesome mouthpieces, they leveraged us to that huge success!“

Congratulations to Conrad Hähnlein (13), Johanna Kalms (15), Helene Grubmüller (14) and Lilly Bindel (14)!

Here is the rest of the results...

Slava Cernavca has been a customer of PLAYNICK for a few years already and plays on our Solist M-mouthpiece in combination with synthetic reeds.

Per e-mail he let us know: "Here a link played with the best mouthpiece and reed cut ever, this combination supports and inspires a totally new and free way of making music, many thanks to PLAYNICK!"

Congratulations to José María Santandreu

It is a pleasure for us to announce that our customer Mister Josè Marìa Santandreu, Principal Clarinet of the Universal Symphony Orchestra and Ensemble d'Arts, just won another two awards - the "Best Instrumental Album" for his album "Colours for clarinet" at the Akademia Music Awards in November 2016 as well as the "Silver Medal Worldwide" as clarinet instrumentalist at the Global Music Awards 2016! Congratulations!

"When I was preparing my second recording, I was playing on a PlayEasy B from PLAYNICK. To do this recording was really easy and nice because compositions for clarinet are very different and the styles are quite opposite indeed but my sound is always the same due to the quality of my mouthpiece.

I am playing with the PlayEasy B because it gives me enough flexibility to play different styles of music with different positions as a performer with contemporary or classic music and as a soloist with orchestras or chamber music. I am very happy with my PLAYNICK-mouthpiece!“
